Food logs, ring dips, & weight loss… Oh my

So I wanted to shed a little light into the notion of food logs, from my perspective, and the 90 Day Challenge. I was keeping a food log, buy since it was not completely aligned with my goals, I discontinued it. My goal was not to lose a ton of weight. I was not obese or really overweight in the social context of the term anyway. I have, though, lost over 10 pounds and am not sitting pretty at 180lbs. I have kept up on my goal of eating much healthier. I think for me, a cheat log may be more inline with my future recording. I did have a couple of Oreos last night, but I didn’t enjoy them at all and that was probably one of the last indulgences in my love affair with the little racially balanced treats.
One nice note of progress is the fact that I was able to string together 15 strict ring dips over 10 minutes the other day. I had never been able to even complete one. Murph was just as amazed as I was. I am also able to churn out about 10 strict chin ups in a row, too. I am getting closer to kipping pull-ups, but I still have a ways to go in hat category.
Overall, I am getting much stronger and notice I finish WODS in the top or middle of the pack. No longer the end of WOD charity clapping case (not that there was anything wrong with that, I think this just shows the natural progression I am making).
The challenge continues and so does this journey into health and fitness I am taking. Even when the 90 days is over, I will still have just begun.
